Native Instruments Maschine Angle Stand
thingiverse
I'm excited to share my very first design with you all. It's a simple stand for my NI Maschine MK1 that I came up with because I wanted to use the device at a more comfortable angle without applying any screws or glue. The idea was to utilize the stock screw holes on the base of the device and create pins that fit snugly into them, which works perfectly. Please note that this design has not been tested on the MK2, Studio, or MK3 Maschine models. The MK2 appears similar, but the MK3 definitely won't work. You can print two of these stands and place one at each end of your device, but I find that just having one in the middle is sturdy enough for me. Installation is straightforward: simply remove the stand from your print bed, flip over your Maschine, and insert the pins into the top screw holes. The fit should be snug but not too tight; if it's a bit tricky, you can sand down the pins slightly to make them easier to insert. Be careful not to force them in too hard or you might bend your device! The attached pictures are of my first printed version without beveled feet. If you're paying close attention, you'll notice that the feet at the bottom are square rather than having a 20-degree angle like they should have. Feel free to remix this design and share it with others, but please don't use it for commercial purposes. If you find it useful, I'd love it if you could give me a thumbs-up!
