NASA's LADEE Satellite (fan model, not from any NASA documentation)
thingiverse
I created a "fan made" model of LADEE satellite, launched on 6th September 2013. I made 64 replicas and distributed them among attendees of the NASA Social event for the launch. The model comprises three parts - the main body, engines, and additional features (mass spectrometer and Lunar Laser Communications Demonstration or LLCD). Individual pieces' files are available along with combined files needed for export from 123D Design. These combined STL files can be used for printing purposes. I printed it at 0.2mm thickness in ABS on a Thing-O-Matic 3D printer. You can watch a YouTube video demonstrating the making process using 123D Design here: http://youtu.be/nmlvz6bIdFM
With this file you will be able to print NASA's LADEE Satellite (fan model, not from any NASA documentation) with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design.
