The project is a single solid aluminum piece with no assembly required for excavation purposes. The prototype features an endless screw both internally and externally, with only one attached spoon. The goal of the project is to execute cuts in the regolith from right to left using the external endless screw. This causes the regolith to flow into the attached spoon while the internal endless screw stores it in the reservoir.
