My design excels with its funnel-shaped structure and spiral baffle design. I've divided the drum into six chambers, each equipped with spiral baffles. The funnel shape allows for a greater volume of soil to be collected with a single scoop. The advantages of this spiral baffle design are numerous: it maximizes the use of space within the drum, making it easier to store and extract soil when rotating in reverse. By angling the scoops, I've reduced their effective width, further increasing efficiency. Structurally, the spiral baffles distribute weight evenly throughout the drum, enabling me to use lighter materials and potentially reducing overall weight. This design also provides stability during low-gravity digging, especially when opposite sides of the drums rotate in synchronized opposition.
