NASA Perseverance Plates
myminifactory
Perseverance is the latest rover that NASA landed on Mars in a breath-taking sequence that we are starting to get images, videos and even sounds! Among the many scientific instruments and equipment, a couple of extra plates are part of Perseverance hardware. The iconic "family plate" showing the evolution of all the NASA rovers sent to Mars is one of those plates and is already available for free here. This extra set of plates is composed by: Explore as One: Plate indicating our location in the Solar System also carrying the names of over 10 million people stencilled on silicon chips Perseverance Nameplate: Titanium plate with the rover name mounted on the robotic arm Mars 2020 Mission: Another titanium plate mounted on the rover's robotic arm with the mission name and mission identifier You can read more about the "easter-eggs" that Perseverance is carrying here. The rest of the plates will be modelled and added to my models so make sure to come back to check! If you print any of those plates, make sure to show the results here on MMF or tag me on Twitter and Instagram Cheers!
