My design is a model of a drum that would scoop up moon soil and redeposit it at a designated site. I built this drum with lightweight materials yet made sure it's strong enough to withstand various conditions. The tubes on this drum pick up the soil and hold onto it until the drum spins in reverse, depositing the soil safely. This is my first 3D model ever created, as I'm an elementary student with limited experience in using 3D modeling software. I'm thrilled to take part in this challenge, having made State for VEX IQ Robotics before but unfortunately missing out due to COVID-19. This project gave me a virtual chance to test myself in the robotics and technology field.
