This digging cube functions continuously and linearly with its work and effort directly tied to time since it always loosens and releases compacted regolith first, then collects it with a helical sheet and directs it towards the center of the cuvette via rotation in the direction of the inward helix. To discharge it, simply turn in the opposite direction. This design is also highly modular, allowing multiple digger buckets to be connected one after another to create a larger unit that can cover more ground at once.
