NASA LOGO BADGE 3D

Made for my son, a huge fan of what you guys are doing there! Designed with Solidworks based on the official logo and pictures of Kennedy Space Center to create a 3D effect. Printable in three colors, I've included a set of parts for each color. With three different types of stars, you'll need to print the right number of each star and fit them into the corresponding holes - it's a bit challenging, but I managed to get it done. You'll need 10 big round stars, 24 small round stars, and 5 four-pointed stars. A small gap is included in the design for easy assembly, and there's an hole in the first A to let the white orbit pass through - don't forget to clean this hole for a perfect fit. The red part needs to be aligned on this hole; it's an easy job, so don't worry. This print has a 200 mm diameter blue part, which is easy to print on a CR10. The red part needs to be rotated and aligned on the bed before printing - you can choose your preferred placement method. I proudly printed this using my stock CR10 with Arianeplast filament in blue, red, and white. Thanks for your interest, and thanks to this fantastic institution! August 28th, 18 I added and printed a stand tonight designed specifically for this print to cover the minimum surface area while being stable enough. The badge is now proudly displayed in my son's room. Thanks to NASA guys - we have a thought every day for their amazing work. October 4th, 18 Following one request, I've added the file "NASA Badge Disk & Stars Included STL", which allows some of you interested in a two-color print using the change color at height feature. The last 1 mm on top should be printed in white for the stars.
