NASA Handrail Clamp
grabcad
This clamp design features two components, one black and the other blue. The black part is inserted into the rail under pressure, ensuring it remains latched even without gravity. It has a 3-degree inclined plane that guides the blue component along the rail. The plan's tilt accommodates the hanging or sliding nature of the blue part. Teeth on both parts enable adjustment of the blue part's position on the rail. The blue part also features a tongue with a tooth designed to grip the black part's teeth for unlocking by lifting the tongue. Good luck to all participants in this challenge! Davide Lambertini
