Revamping NASA's Handrail Clamp Assembly: The CHAMP Solution CHAMP, an innovative one-piece 3D printable design, has demonstrated its flexibility under side loads of 125lbs, as anticipated. To install, simply drop it onto the rail at a 28° angle and rotate it into place. A bottom radius of 0.125" ensures a secure snap fit, while an ID Radius kept 0.005" undersized guarantees a snug rail fitting. For removal, just apply outward pressure at the base and lift upwards.
