Introducing my NASA Challenge submission: a 3D printing process animation for human-rated spacecraft. Inside the folder are renderings, video presentations of animations and assembly models. The two main assemblies demonstrate metal printer fabrication for internal vessels and robotic arms performing composite filling and final machining of thermal protection system material. The Orion spacecraft model is included at scale with collected data. Six-axis freedom robotic arms allow tool mobility, with a focus on safety in shared workspaces. A workspace desk features a tools guard and rotational access for the arms. Essential tools include an extruder, milling tool, and metal extruder; additional tools like sensors can be added as needed. Decorative elements complete the scene, including a worker, platform, electrical box, pipes, cables, compressor tank/material storage, and protection panels.
