NASA 3d Printing Process

NASA 3d Printing Process

grabcad

Greetings, my proposal outlines a 3D spacecraft printing process with three distinct workstations. The initial station prints the heat shield on a rotating table using two robot arms for printing and machining. Ventilation is integrated into the bottom of the table to enhance material solidification. Workstation one also produces the pressure vessel frame in separate parts. These components are assembled in workstation two, where magnetic cranes hold and position them during further machining. Lastly, workstation three completes the heat shield base and assembles the pressure vessel frame before printing the final layer and covering. I have provided an fbx animation, stl, and .step files along with solidworks parts files for interested users. Kindly refer to the video links for a demonstration.
