NAS Hard Drive Frame 4 Bay

NAS Hard Drive Frame 4 Bay

thingiverse

I'm taking my first stab at crafting something useful with openSCAD. I was looking for a design that could safeguard my hard drives in my Open NAS setup. The result is far from aesthetically pleasing, but it gets the job done. To bring this creation to life, print it with the fan grill facing downwards on your build plate – no support structures needed. One thing that has me stumped is how to resolve the "Object may not be a valid 2-manifold" error. I've already taken steps to repair the STL file using MS 3D Builder, and it prints flawlessly every time.
