I endeavored to create a comical-looking cartoon narwhal in 3D using Lightwave 3D version 9.6, exporting the model as an OBJ file without issues. Employing MakerWare on high quality settings, I generated an x3d file with five shells and 35% infill. Printing required raft and support features, taking approximately four hours. Caution is necessary regarding the spike, which may become detached; superglue isn't ideal as PLA bonding takes longer and is weaker compared to epoxy.
