By following the tutorial at http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-make-a-Paracord-Rescue-Belt/, I initially used too much rope and had to unravel my belt made from thebluedirt's design. For the second attempt, I opted for 3 loops, but found it excessively wide. To rectify this, I adjusted the mesh directly in Blender without a source file. An adult male hip will require approximately 50 feet of paracord using the mentioned tutorial and 3 loops; however, be prepared for some initial stretching upon first use.
