Narrow Outer Shoulders for Carrera Slot Car Track

I designed these shoulders for use with the Carrera 1/24 (and 1/32) Digital/Analog track system. They are exactly half the width of the shoulders available from Carrera at 49.5mm wide, a nice compromise between size and table space usage. I wanted to create shoulders without taking up too much room, so these should fit perfectly on your track setup. The Red Carrera track clips can be used to attach them securely to the track and join the ends together seamlessly. The Carrera wall brackets (both current "tape" style and older "liquorice" style) and my custom wall brackets all attach to these shoulders without any issues whatsoever. The naming convention of the shoulders is similar to Carrera's, making it easy to identify which ones you need for your track setup. For example, R1-30 is a 30-degree shoulder designed for use outside an R1 section. It's worth noting that these shoulders are intended to be used in pairs per track section, except for the R2-30 and the R4-15 which require only one shoulder per corresponding track section. To accommodate smaller print beds, I've included two variations of R2 and R4 curves. If you use the shortest arc of each radius, the longest linear dimension is 220.2mm to the ends of the outside arc - so be sure to orient them diagonally across your bed for a secure fit. So far, I've used the R2-30 and R1-30 shoulders, and they work flawlessly. I hope you enjoy using these shoulders! They're perfect for adding a professional touch to your track setup without taking up too much space. CORRECTION: I printed these at .3mm layer heights, with the track surface facing down. I used 2 bottom layers, 1 top layer, and 25% infill with a Honeycomb pattern for maximum stability and durability. UPDATE 5/8: I've added 1/4, 1/3, and 1/2 straight shoulders that attach to full straight sections seamlessly. Additionally, I've included 1/3 ends and 1/2 ends that can be used with 1/3 straights and full straight sections respectively. These new pieces have an updated clip hole design that requires less support material due to the holes in the clip sections. UPDATE 5/11: I've added a transition piece that uses half of a straight section to transition from my narrow shoulders to the full-size shoulder from Carrera. This piece can be mirrored in your print software (such as Cura, Slicer, or Simplify3D) to change direction as needed.
