A protective casing for the pocket-sized VNA (NanoVNA). It's a fantastic little VNA, but the sides need protection. The sides are exposed and vulnerable. I designed this casing in Fusion 360 and after a few trials, I came up with something that fits perfectly. The front cover is attached to the front panel using glue. The back cover is secured by screws. The original screws have been replaced with counter-sunk screws for added protection. On either side of the power switch, there are two holes for status lights. A clear plastic light tube STL is printed and glued into these holes for a sleek look. I've experimented with PLAflex and TPU filaments, which would work well for this project. Use the NanoVNA flex cover STL to create the flexible cover. Update 11 Sept 2019 I've added two new files: countersunk front and clearance front. This will hopefully accommodate the NanoVNA with a screw on the front. The clearance version hides the front screws, while the counter-sunk version uses the original front screws. To install the counter-sunk cover, remove the front screws and press the cover into place. Then, reattach the screws. I've printed an orange version using PETG filament, which turned out strong and well-defined. I've also made the origin Fusion file available for download due to popular request. Please give me credit for the original design: https://a360.co/2ZdIE9u. Attention There are two suppliers of these kits that I've discovered. The black case version has brass bolts and nuts, while the white version has plastic bolts and nuts. My design is tailored for the black case. If you swap the top nuts to brass and solder them in place, my casing will fit perfectly. Alternatively, drill out the holes where the bolts protrude. A possible solution is designing another case with room for these bolts.
