NanoPi R6c Fan Enclosure CaseI use a NanoPi R6c with the supplied aluminium metal. The metal case doubles as a fully enclosed heatsink and it works great, but wow, does it get hot when it's used as router with Cake SQM and you proceed to max out a 1Gbps connection for several hours... Too hot for me.Therefore, I created this slip-case with a 40x10mm 5v Noctua fan inside, powered by the USB 2.0 port - which helps take some of that heat away.Shopping ListNanoPi R6c with Metal Case: https://www.friendlyelec.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=69&product_id=291Noctua NF-A4x10 5V FLX (3 pin): https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00NEMGCIA/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_image_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1USB Right Angle Cable: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08ZS7Z79T/ref=ox_sc_act_image_1?smid=AU1X8UEKOI3Y&psc=18mm Silicon Bumper Pads: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08QHZ1SW4/ref=ox_sc_act_image_1?smid=A1GQFM04QDQHY4&th=16mm M2.5 Screws: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B093FQH5WS/ref=ox_sc_act_image_1?smid=AF2CEVH0TTIK8&psc=1Step-Down Module: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07DJ5HZ7G/ref=ox_sc_act_image_1?smid=A3SCFTIO8CSK1X&psc=1 - You don't strictly need this, the USB 2.0 port provides 5v - Which the Noctua fan is designed for, however, I used a buck converter to output 3v to make the fan run slower and a little quieter.NoteThe original design (refer to the photographs): You'll see part of the silicon bumber pads cut off to make room for the scews that connect the bottom part and top part together. The bottom part was meant to have countersunk holes for the screws to go in and sit flush with the plastic and then the bumper pads to go on top, but I made the countersink the wrong size... The uploaded STL files contain a correction so you don't have to cut off any of the silicon bumber pads.I'd use ABS if you can for better thermal tolerances.
