I heard Dave_C likes whoops so I built a version with whoop parts. In ABS the frame weighed 5.6g with a vtx mount, 30.3g dry weight and 44.6g auw with 1s 600mah gnb, using gemfans new 75mm on happymodel 0803 12000kv gave about 7-8 minutes of flight landing at 3.75v while tuning, 10+ minutes on lipo should be possible especially if there's a good 800-1200mah lipo or maybe a 18350 li-ion. I also added a bn-180 gps with dipole antenna and no shielding or connector making the dry weight 32.7 The 2mm rod seems plenty strong enough if you can keep the weight down, I would stay under 50-60g AUW. I cut the 2mm carbon rod to 120mm for the front and 70mm for the back this gives it a very wide slight deadcat stance. You'll likely have to drill the holes out then slide the carbon into the front when gluing the camera cage on, use CA or an acetone slurry if you print in ABS My parts used, Betafpv f4 1s no rx HappyModel 0803 12000kv gemfan 75mm bi-blade 1mm shaft Eachine atx03s KingKong cam Jumper d16 rx bn-180 stripped for weight I had these lying parts laying around, the FC is not available anymore and I'm not gonna get far on this rx. The new ELRS aio is probably the best bet.
