Learning should be fun! And learning at home can be really exciting. Why shouldn't one use the time of the crisis to venture into the exciting topic of robotics? Isn't that too complicated? Not at all! The "Nanofriedrich" project is intended to enable a low-threshold entry into the world of digital technology. Of course, using small moving robots with microcontrollers in the classroom is not new, but has not yet been implemented in this form. What distinguishes this concept from others? This project does not consider the topic of robotics in isolation, but integrates it into a wider context. The children experience the complete workflow, from the design of the robot components in CAD software (OpenSCAD), the additive manufacturing, the assembly of the components and the programming of the microcontroller to the use of the finished, functional product. And all of this in a simple, easy-to-understand and, above all, affordable form. The complete material costs no more than about 20 € and the required parts can be printed in under an hour! This is Industry 4.0 in the children's room! All necessary information and files are available here: https://experimentalrover.de/nanofriedrich-konzept/ Make the most of the time you have to spend at home, build your own robot. Print instructionsThe parts set is super easy to print. Simply choose the fastest possible mode for your printer. The parts are absolutely uncritical to print and do not require any support.
