NanoBlock - a super small fully featured extruder
thingiverse
Introducing NanoBlock, a compact yet feature-packed extruder that boasts an actively cooled NEMA11 motor with 20:1 worm gear reduction for precision and speed. The design, created in collaboration with Bruno Blazinc, measures around 42x50x58mm and weighs approximately 180 grams. It comprises just six parts to print and prints without support. Despite its small size, NanoBlock relies on specific parts that may be difficult to obtain or expensive. The creator hopes to launch a campaign for factory-produced parts in the future, making it even more durable. In the meantime, feedback on the concept is welcome. Note that this isn't the H4 extruder and apologies for the messy appearance due to ongoing experimentation.
