Nano Drone Wrist Mount (CX-10D)
pinshape
Shenzhen has a Thriving FPV Drone Racing Scene. Thanks to its low cost, almost anyone can participate, build, and fly their own drone. It's essentially a modern take on drag racing, tailored for tech enthusiasts. I'm not quite ready to compete myself, but I enjoy watching local competitors and cheering them on. To avoid being seen as just a spectator, I like to showcase my piloting skills with my nano drones. These small drones have an "easy mode" that includes altitude control, making it easy to hand them off to beginners and get them flying quickly. The wrist mount fits the popular Cheerson CX-10D drone model perfectly (I have no affiliation with the company). To secure it in place, I use a tiny dot of Blu-tack. For the belt mount, two small magnets are required - one attached to the controller and another to the buckle. This setup provides a firm hold. I've got both a split and full version of this wrist mount available. The split design doesn't require any support, while the full version needs some extra assistance but looks cleaner. The split version can be glued together for added stability.
