Nano Compact MMU2 Buffer for Cool MMU2 Filament Roller
thingiverse
Why use tons of filament and time printing a buffer when you can print using less than 1 meter of filament in just 20 minutes ? This is my remix for use with Cool MMU2 Filament Roller, you just snap it on the roller bottom and the buffer is the spool, that's it, see the pictures before/after the unretract is done. When unretract is done the spool buffer the extra filament. Quite simple and works like a charm ! There are 2 versions: 1 for PC4-M10 1 for PC4-M6 I never had courage to print filament buffer for years because they all spend too much filament, and for Prusa MMU2 we're talking for 5x. So by luck I see this BEAUTIFULL, SIMPLE Cool MMU2 Filament Roller and the filamet buffer for it. I was about to print it, but once I look at the spool I got the idea to simplify it to a minimum, and using the Fusion 3D in a few minutes I got it done and printed to test. Installed it and it worked perfectly. Now I get 5 spools with only 3.9 meters of filament in about 1 hour of print.
