Nanit Pro Wall Mount Pole Adaptor
thingiverse
This system was designed to convert the Nanit Pro wall mount system to a portable, pole mount as it was ridiculously expensive to purchase the Nanit pole mount product. The base will likely require some weight placed on top of it to anchor it down or it will be a little wobbly (especially if you have thick carpet). Also, some velcro ties to the edge of the cot will help support it vertically. The wall mounting plate provided with the Nanit Pro mounts onto the top section with some 15mm M4 bolts. You will then need to cut your wooden dowel to length so that the plate is at the height defined in the Nanit Pro mounting instructions (167cm). As the 3d printed parts add around 7.5mm, and the hook is 8mm from the top, you should need to cut your dowel to 167.5cm. Place the printed part on the pole and ensure they are facing in the correct direction (inside diameter is 29mm). Draw through the holes onto the wooden pole to mark where you need to drill. Drill all the way through with a 4mm bit. You can then use the 40mm M3 bolts to secure the printed parts onto the pole. You will then need to secure your cable on the backside of the pole so that the child cannot interact with it. I used some double-sided tape to secure it to the back of the pole, making it neat and subtle. Please ensure that the cable is safely secured as it can be a risk to your child!
