If you need to disassemble a camera lens that has a screwed or pressed nameplate on the front and you don't have the correct rubber cylinders that are used for this kind of job you can use this tool I designed. You just need some sort of strong biadhesive tape, possibly that doesn't leaves residues, so that you can stick the 3D printed ring on the nameplate and then unscrew or pull away the plate. I successfully used it with a Canon FDn 100mm, the plate came away like butter. It may seems complicated but it's really immediate and you can easily find a tape that will work nicely! Diameter is 52mm but you can use it with bigger lenses too. I uploaded the Fusion360 Archive file so that you can easily customize it if you need. Hope this can be useful!
