Name Plate
thingiverse
This is a fully customizable OpenSCAD model designed specifically for creating custom name plates with countersunk mounting holes that can be precisely tailored to your needs. To create contrasting letters, you can seamlessly switch to a different filament halfway through the print as I demonstrated in my example. The design uploaded works flawlessly with standard USA #6 (3.5 mm) countersunk wood screws, but this can easily be modified to suit any specific requirements. For a sleek and hole-free finish, simply enter "0" for the diameter. Update 12 Aug 2018: The OpenSCAD file has been thoroughly updated to function perfectly within Customizer. Update 24 Dec 2018: A brand new option has been added allowing users to opt out of mounting holes altogether.
