I created a personalized name plate holder inspired by fredchan's Partition - Name Plate Holder ??????. Since I needed it for mounting on a flat surface, I removed the hook and logo from the original design and added holes using TinkerCAD for screws or nails. The dimensions of a standard placard are approximately 1.75 inches (height) x 0.25 inches (depth), with a length/width that can be customized to your preference. For my project, I used a Cameo Silhouette to cut out letters from a piece of material and applied them to a sheet of styrene stock.
