Name Card with Japanese traditional pattern and QR code(w/ Fusion360 model)
prusaprinters

I designed name card with QR code in three col card with QR code in three colors. It can be printed by Prusa Mini+, thus this can be printed without MMU.

The card consists of five layers;

1st layer: watermark pattern. printed in Black. The pattern called “Asanoha”. It means hemp leaf. Hemp grows as fast as 4m in 4 months and grows straight, so it also has the meaning of wishing for the growth of a healthy child.

2nd and 3rd layers: base of the card. Printed in black. Only one layer for the base is too thin, so I designed the base with two layers.

4th layer: letters for my title, QR code and base of my name. printed in white.

5th layer: decoration to my name in vivid color

I added print shield and a redundant print area on the top left on the print area.

This model should be printed with 0.25mm nozzle due to fine pattern. In this case, first part of the printing after filament change is not stable, so having print shield area is suitable, I think. Also after filament change before the print shield printing, nozzle spit out small amount of the melted filament on the print( name card on this case). So I added redundancy printing area for this trouble.

I just started 3D printing and 3D CAD for several month. So advice and comment are very helpful for me.

The link of the QR code is my blog. It's written in Japanese. The articles are mainly about 3D printing.
