Wide mouth Nalgene water bottle cap redesign. To develop a new design, I dissected several cross sections from an existing cap to gather accurate measurements of thread pitch, height and profile, as well as the inner seal at the top. I 3D printed this model in PLA and PETG on an Anet A9 and both caps turned out to be leakproof. Edit 9/12/19 - I've uploaded a revised F3D file for this project if anyone wants to modify it or explore how I created custom threads.
