Naked O3 Cage

Naked O3 Cage

thingiverse

A simple 3-piece cage to hold a DJI O3 onto a frame. I tried this with PLA but the temperature of the O3 unit caused the material to warp, so I changed this to Carbon Fiber Polycarbonate which works fine. The target was minimal mass; the entire cage weighs about 1.4 grams. This system is designed for M2 hardware so you'll need to enlarge the holes in the O3 boards. I have found the best approach to a tapered circular file, just slowly open up the bore until it fits. The system has a compression tab to retain the crossover cable (assuming you disconnected the antenna side, not the video processor side when you de-cased the unit) and provides positive retention of both the antennas and video cable. Can be mounted in either orientation.
