The user specified a unique printing configuration that included a glow-in-the-dark material for the exterior of the product, known as the 3D-printed part's outer shell. A low-density infill was used to create a lightweight structure within the part, with an infill density of only 5%. This is achieved by printing at very fine layer thicknesses, specifically .2mm per layer, which increases print time but allows for high level of detail and precision in the finished product. To ensure proper adhesion of the part to the build platform and prevent warping or other defects during the cooling process, the user specified that the part should be printed upside down. Additionally, a raft was added to further stabilize the part on the build platform, and supports were included to help maintain the shape of overhanging features.
