Files for mounting a naked Hero 6 on an 85x frame are provided below. The design of these pieces is intended to make them extremely easy to print, with only minimal support required for the zip tie holes. Depending on the specific printer being used, it may even be possible to skip these supports entirely. Supports are definitely necessary for the ND filter holder, however. To mount the lens onto the board, use M2 nylon screws and nylon nuts. Two sets of these will provide sufficient hold for the lens. Since the lower part is not secured by anything, a small lens spacer has been added to prevent the lens from coming into contact with the PCB. A couple of small dabs of Welder glue have been used to secure it in place, but this can be easily removed later if necessary. CA gluing may also work, although it will likely be permanent. The two main pieces are held together using small clear hair bands obtained from a girl's hair accessory store. Tiny 2mm zip ties are used to hold everything else together. Red lines on the two main parts indicate where the zip ties should be applied to secure them in place. A bag of 1500 tiny clear elastic rubber bands can be purchased on Amazon, and these are also useful for securing balance leads to batteries.
