Nakatomi Plaza Air Duct Xmas Decoration
thingiverse
This year, treat yourself to a unique geek tree ornament - a miniature replica of Natakomi Plaza's air exchange system. To create this tiny treasure, print your design and then bend the printed photo into shape. Next, slide it into a slot that adds an extra layer of realism. For an authentic flickering effect, use a Tea Light LED or a regular LED paired with a CR2450 Lithium 3V battery (#389-063-06). This setup will keep your ornament lit for several weeks without the need for a resistor. To turn it off, simply remove the battery. To print this design, use a 25% fill and no supports are required. Once printed, hang your masterpiece using the provided nub on top, attached to a normal decor hanger. To take your creation to the next level, I've included additional battery clip doors featuring Star Trek, alien, Futurama, IT, and blank end panels for you to customize. This intricate design was crafted with Tinkercad. Feel free to edit it online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/2HiXQaU6VnP. The concept behind the Battery holder LED component is based on Compact LED Light for CR2032, created by skriver on November 3, 2014.
