This is an adapter specifically designed for holding an 8oz Red Bull can in place within an NA Miata cup holder. It's crucial not to print this adapter using PLA, as it will shrink significantly over time when exposed to the heat of a car. ABS or PETG filaments would be more suitable options for printing this adapter and can withstand high temperatures inside a vehicle. I printed the adapter with the top surface facing upwards, which required a considerable amount of support material underneath due to its design. Despite the extra time needed for printing, the outcome was satisfactory. However, I believe that printing the adapter upside-down without any supports could be an efficient alternative. This approach might pose some challenges in ensuring the tabs connect properly, but it should print faster than with supports. At this point, I haven't attempted to print the adapter upside-down without support material. Nevertheless, using a raft would likely help stabilize the tab area during printing. Update: Following my initial suggestions, I decided to print the adapter upside-down with a raft and no additional supports, and it printed successfully.
