N20 Mount for Fingertech Viper Chassis
thingiverse
I designed this motor mount in Fusion to convert my Viper kit for N20 motors instead of Silver Sparks, focusing on weight savings for titanium armor installation. The result has been surprisingly effective. This mount positions the shaft exactly where the silver sparks do, so other components function as usual. To install it, you'll need to drill two holes into the chassis and obtain the necessary hardware. You can download the top hold-down from Thingiverse and print it yourself. For my specific setup, I used Endbots' N20 mounts (the white ones in the pictures). The fastener details are below: I needed 2 of each type per mount: Phillips pan head screws made of stainless steel 18-8 (A-2), measuring 2mm x 0.4mm x 14mm. I also required 2 metric hex jam nuts, made of stainless steel 18-8 (A-2), with a measurement of 2mm x 0.4mm. Lastly, I needed 2 metric fender washers, made of stainless steel 18-8 (A-2), measuring 3mm x 9mm per mount.
