N20 Gear Motor Shaft Bearing Reinforcement
thingiverse
Bearing blocks to reinforce the output shaft of a N20 gear motor in regards of radial load. If wheels are applied direktly to the shaft of these gear motors they often fail over time due to the output shaft getting wobbely. This bearing block is meant to support the shaft and therefore increase the durability. It is attached to the gear motor with two M1.6x4 countersunk screws. There are two variants: The first one requires a Lego part to be drilled out and put onto the shaft. The second one requires a 3x6x2 bearing (3 mm inner radius, 6 mm outer radius, 2 mm width). If shortened the same Lego part can be attached to this version too to allow easier attachment of Lego wheels. Printed on a modified Ender 3V2 with direct drive. 0.2 mm nozzle 0.16 mm layer height 4 perimeters 10 % infill raft supports on bed only Printed with Filamentworld PETG, but should be fine with other materials like PLA as well.
