N100 CPAP Filter Thermoform COVID-19 Mask Size Large, Medium, and Small. One major issue with 3D Printed masks is the filter itself. This mask features a 22mm hose connector but has been reversed and extruded in an inverted manner. Hospital-grade CPAP filters are N100, which surpasses N95 in terms of effectiveness. Until now, these filters have been more readily available and widely used than their N95 counterparts. Consequently, I've created a suck-down / Thermoform template that can be printed and utilized to manufacture numerous masks, each utilizing an N100 filter. This process would take significantly less time compared to 3D printing a single mask. Suck-downs can be fabricated in mere minutes, whereas 3D printing a mask typically requires hours of processing time. I've also added additional extrusion at the edges for enhanced peripheral sealing. Furthermore, resin relief holes and hollowing have been incorporated into the model design. The sizing, measuring less than 120mm in the Medium and Small sizes, allows for the use of these masks with simple bleaching tray thermoforming machines as well. N.B. Full credit is given to Wally Renne and the MUSC team for their creation of the SAFE 3D Printed Mask, along with the permission granted for its use. Additionally, this package includes the Spencera95 CPAP Filter housing. If you don't possess CPAP filters, you can simply print this component to fit into your newly manufactured thermoform mask.
