A functional part is now complete. A rail cleaning car, specifically one that scrapes the rails clean, has been created. A plastic file with 240-grit sandpaper is used to smooth out rough spots. The height can be adjusted precisely with a screw. The car runs smoothly over both compensation rails and single-track lines without any issues. The car was printed using a 0.4 mm layer thickness and the curves were smoothed out with sandpaper, I know that's not ideal but it works . We use two quarters as weights to keep things stable. The bogies came from an old wagon and were simply screwed into place. Since the car is relatively short, it handles small radii with ease. The fact that the car works well can be seen in a picture taken from underneath (the system is still in its early stages)
