While building my N scale railroad, I discovered a surprising lack of affordable and detailed signal options. Many models are too pricey for me, and their level of detail is often lacking. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands and create my own signal system from scratch. Here's the result - an N scale signal with a step-by-step tutorial that guides you through every stage of construction. Although it's designed specifically for N scale, this design can also be adapted for HO scale. Just remember that HO scale requires slightly larger components, such as a 3mm pole diameter. I've included HO scale files in the download package for anyone who wants to give it a try. When it comes to electronics, you'll need 0603 SMD LEDs.
