N Scale Removable Hayes Bumper

I needed a removable Hayes bumper for my N scale layout that would allow for easy expansion in case of future modifications. The bumper slides into the end of the track between the plastic molded ties and the top of the track, given that the rails are shaped like I beams. Since the object measures 9.5mm wide, it fits snugly between the rails and effectively stops cars and locomotives moving at relatively high speeds. The printed, painted, and tested object performed well on Atlas Code 55 and Code 80 tracks. To create an N scale version of the bumper, scale the dimensions to L15mm x W9.5mm x H7mm. You may also be able to adapt it for HO scale, but I don't have a track to test that size.
