Four types of catenary masts that fit perfectly on this thing: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1593126 are available. The "dam" masts are mounted vertically in the embarkment, while the "track" masts slide smoothly under the track bed. The "pull" masts mimic line tensioning masts, utilizing internal weights to achieve this effect. It's essential to note that the height of the catenary matches model railroad standards. This means if you use these masts as decoration on an electrified model railroad, be sure not to extend any pantographs or they will collide with the catenary supports. Print Settings Printer: Dremel Idea Builder Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.15mm Infill: Print solid Notes: To achieve a first layer as shown in the image, try making your slicer produce mostly uninterrupted lines. For my slicer, I had to rotate the object 90° on the build platform. If subsequent layers do not slice the catenary support with a 0.8mm width - two lines of extruded filament for a 0.4mm nozzle - try scaling up by 1%.
