N-Scale Log-Grab for Generic Front Loader
thingiverse
This is an N-Scale accessory for the "Easy to print Generic Front Loader (esc: 1:100 or HO Scale)" designed by "guaro3d" (Luis Corado). To print it for an unmodified/unscaled front loader, you'll need to scale it up by a factor of 1.6 (160%). For HO-Scale, scaling up by a factor of 1.84 (184%) is required. You won't be able to print this part on a regular FDM printer without some difficulty. A 0.3 mm Nozzle is necessary for printing in N-Scale. However, it should print out impressively well on the Anycubic Photon DLP printer, though I haven't tested that yet. Printing at 1:100 or 1:87 scale with a 0.4 mm nozzle might also be possible, but beware - these parts are delicate and may break easily. This design is intended for decoration purposes only. The log fork and grapple are two separate components. I carefully drilled holes into both models to insert a piece of brass wire. Initially, I reused the basic design of guaro3d's attachment (which is why I selected this as a remix), but it didn't scale well after fusing both parts, so I rebuilt it from scratch. The photo below shows an earlier version of the log fork, while the rendering above displays the upgraded variant.
