N scale guard rails (1:160)
thingiverse
You'll want to set up some basic guard rails along your n-scale (1:160) roads with careful design intent in mind. The goal is for the designs to meet at a post, ensuring a seamless glue-up. However, you may need to do a little bit of easy filing to get a good match at these fine scales. To minimize support needs when printing, place the guard rails face-down on the bed, with the exposed face facing downwards. This will make it easier to remove them from your delicate model without causing any damage. If you need a guard rail for the opposite side of a road, simply copy and mirror the design in your slicer. For example, if you're building a bridge, you'll want to create a mirrored version of the guard rail to ensure a smooth transition at each end.
