This building is a key part of my N-Scale model railroad's urban area, which I have carefully designed to bring the Osborne Street Village to life. The village is based on the real-life neighborhood in Winnipeg, Canada, where I grew up. The village has a unique artsy vibe that sets it apart from other neighborhoods. It features some of the city's best live music venues and watering holes, as well as numerous restaurants that cater to all tastes. Along the main strip, you'll find trendy shopping areas, jewelry stores, cooking supply shops, a record store with an impressive collection of vinyl records, yoga studios, and a beloved theater known for its comedy acts. In 2012, the Canadian Institute of Planners named Osborne Street Village one of Canada's greatest neighborhoods, and it's easy to see why. The village has a distinct charm that makes it stand out from other urban areas. Building #5 is the Toad Building, which sits on the east side of Osborne Street between River Avenue and Stradbrook. This building holds a special place in my heart, both in its digital form and as a real-life structure.
