N Scale - Bare 10 Foot Deck with a concrete wall for switch Machine

thingiverse

This is a 10-foot-long deck that can be placed on top of the slide from the switch machine. A concrete wall is attached to the deck, providing a sturdy base for items like barrels or crates that can be glued in front of it. You can print this deck with or without a hole in the front, depending on your needs. The front hole serves as an alternative to the peg for the control wire going to the turnout, making it less conspicuous than the peg on the slide. If you opt for the hole, simply remove the peg from the slide and fill the hole, or download a revised file that prints a top slide without a high peg. For those with printing issues, a small hole in the front of the deck may not print correctly. In this case, drill a hole of 0.070 inches in diameter, centered 0.070 inches from the end of the deck. The deck and wall assembly can be pushed back and forth to activate the DPST slide switch underneath it, while also throwing the turnout via the control wire. Additionally, the DPST switch allows for the polarity of the frog to be changed.
