N Scale 45 foot grain silo

N Scale 45 foot grain silo

I created this N Scale concrete grain silo, specifically designed for 3D resin printing. As my first N Scale 3D CAD project, there are a couple of things to note. The chute is slightly longer than needed, so you'll probably want to sand it, possibly after gluing it onto the silo body. Also, the ladder isn't exactly scaled properly, but it's okay. When painting this model, it's best to paint all parts individually before assembling them. To add steel bands around the silo, paint the silo with your preferred concrete color first and let it dry. Then, paint your chosen steel band color onto a sheet of card stock and roll the silo back and forth across the painted surface to pick up enough paint for the bands. I used Tinkercad to create this model, which you can edit online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/9CADsUnxUmi.
