N.A.S.A INTERNATIONAL SPACE SATATION FITTING

Greetings everyone! Here's my submission for the NASA ISS challenge, featuring a two-piece design. It incorporates the seat track layout and a unique clamping mechanism, which was logically derived from the original seat track blueprint. I am thrilled to see FDM technology used in space as it marks a significant leap toward experimentation and tool creation onboard. However, I believe that printing in microgravity may not necessarily result in better layer adhesion compared to Earth, as gravity plays a role in enhancing bonding between layers. Nonetheless, creating parts in space where resources are limited is truly commendable. Cheers!
