Märklin TIN PLATE Gauge 1 replacement wheels
thingiverse
The wheels fitted to old Märklin tin plate rolling stock have too wide flanges to run OK on G-scale or 1:32 (45 mm) track. They will certainly de-rail on switches/points. I've designed 2 types of wheels, spoked and disk/closed. Press a ZZ623 bearing in on both sides of each wheel. Screw in a M3 bolt/screw on both sides of an axle. Cut off the heads, leaving ~16 mm thread out of the axle. Slide the wheels on the threads, and mount the wheel-set to your wagon. Now you can enjoy running your classic Märklin railway wagons on modern track. These wheels-sets are tested for Märklin tin plate wagons only. I don't know if these fit on other brands, like Bing, Flack, Carette, etc......
