Märklin (Hübner) Gauge 1 / 1:32 Rottenkraftwagen 5739 / 5740 LAMPS and DRAWBAR

<p>In 1993 Märklin released a gauge 1 / 1:32 model of a DB (German railways) maintenance train (Rottenkraftwagen.) Model# 5739 (digital) and 5740 (analog) were actually designed and produced by Hübner.</p><p>They are heavy, solid models, mostly made of die-cast metal, fitted with a strong Faulhaber motor driving both axles by a central cardan-drive.</p><p>Even the crane, couplings and drawbar are executed in metal.</p><p>Only the top section of the cabin, the planks, some details in the running gear and the lamps are made of plastic.</p><p>The lamps are mounted in slots at the side of the engine and carts.
