Märklin Point Lantern PlugThe Märklin M-Track turnouts 5118, 5119, 5203 and 5204 are equipped with a larger lantern, which is incompatible with some newer Märklin train sets. Especially long or low profile coaches will collide with the lantern, which is why they are often just removed.This Plug can be used to cover the hole left by the removed lantern and prevents the actuator arm from creating a short to the loose lamp socket. It also guides the actuator, so it doesn't get stuck.That way these points can still be used in tunnels or invisible rail yards, where looks aren't a priority.
